Recognising suicide risk and learning how to support
Last term we surveyed parents during the Parent Teacher evening about our school conducting a MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) for parents supporting children at home, the survey indicated many parents were interested in attending the course.
On Tuesday 20th November - 5.30pm - 9.30pm in the school Library, Lithgow High School will be hosting a 4-hour MHFA course - Recognising suicide risk and learning how to support training for parents, which gives parents/carers the skills they need to recognise and help with mental health problems and crises.
Contact: Sam Luchetti – Community Liaison Officer on 63 521422, Bookings essential. RSVP: Monday 12th November
